Beyond time and beyond reason exists a bond between humans and animals so strong it can cross countries and it can cross centuries. You can see it in the eyes of a child and you can see it in the eyes of an animal. I continue to feel it in my heart daily.

If, through my art, I can add one more act of kindness to the life of an animal then I feel I have accomplished something great. On the pages that follow, I will share some of the wonderful faces and hearts I have met, some just outside my studio window!
