Along the shores of
Morro Bay, California, is a spot where the sea calls out
with the thunder of the crashing waves and I wonder to
whom she calls. Are there ships beyond my sight? Hearts
beyond my reach that only she can see? Will she call them
back with gulls or send out sweet sparrows to guide them
home?
