I kept wanting to take my shoes off when
I was painting this seascape. What you are seeing in this
painting is a close-up of the beach at Ebey's Landing on Whidbey Island
(Washington). It is not every day we get to see the sun glimmering off the
rocks and this seemed a sight worth keeping! I have always loved the water;
as a kid I used to hang off the sides of docks and could hardly wait to see
something move in the water below. That's the kind of feeling I get from
this image; almost as if a clam will squirt or a crab will scurry by any
second. |
