I was compelled to work on a
fund-raiser for Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall project to help raise funds
for art supplies for children with special medical needs. A friend sent me a
photograph of her cat and I added my personal touches to it, trying to give
it a very warm, comforting, homebound feeling. This is the resultant
painting and I am thankful for the photographs and for the opportunity to
participate in such a wonderful cause.
